Today’s KROQ Flashback: US3 “Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)”

It really is fairly hard to believe that this awesome little groove fit into the overall sound of KROQ back when it was new in 1994. Dropping it in amongst Jesus Jones (whom I’ll be throwing your way here at KROQ.com later this week), De La Soul, Arrested Development (the band not the amazing television show) and the prevailing 1960′s revival that had just happened, however, worked very well.
It may sound more familiar to you now as a TV commercial since it’s turned up in quite a number of them, but the original video is parked over at VEVO for ya.

Right. on. Sluggster. …I’m still trippin’ on the groove. Dig that track right there man. Had no idea of the name of the artist until now. Thanks bra! Great Flashback as per a usual Sluggo. Yeah, the mid nineties were a vast cultural awakening like the 80′s except even more mellow. I’m so proud to be of the Generation X era kids. This joint definitely is going along side my Deee Lite and my Jesse Jaymes. Keep ‘em lit Slug Bug! Mmm Haze…
