Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce Details For New Album

Alright you Funky Monks, we finally have a confirmed date and title for the next Red Hot Chili Peppers album, and it’s probably closer than you expected.
Your five-year void of new Chili Peppers will be filled to the brim this very summer, as the next chapter for one of Los Angeles’ biggest and baddest has been written.
Red Hot Chili Peppers will unveil their tenth studio album Tuesday, August 30th marking the band’s first release since 2006′s two-part beaut Stadium Arcadium.
The new album, titled I’m With You, will feature both familiar and foreign faces. Returning are vocalist Anthony Keidis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, as well as producer Rick Rubin. With the departure of guitarist John Frusciante, all eyes and ears will certainly be directed towards “newcomer” Josh Klinghoffer, a former collaborator with Frusciante and back-up guitarist for the Stadium Arcadium tour.
Check back at KROQ.com for any upcoming RHCP updates that are sure to follow. Until then, exhale and enjoy your first full night’s sleep in five years.
