This morning on The Kevin & Bean Show, we welcomed Foster the People into the studio. For a band that’s only been around for about a year and a half, they’re not doing too shabby.
It wasn’t that long ago that we had this local LA band playing up the street at the Viper Room and at Spaceland (recently renamed as the Satellite), and now they’ve graduated to playing giant music festivals such as SXSW and Coachella!
With their careers moving at full speed now, we snagged them just in time to play a lovely little show that we like to call the (SOLD OUT) KROQ Weenie Roast! (Mark) Foster (and) the People stopped in this morning to chat and play a couple of acoustic songs while they were at it.

i love foster the people!! great new fresh music!! and all good looken! but playing live at kroq..? acoustic? was better then great!! i like that!! these guys got it!!!!

Omb I freaking love you mark foster!!!!!! I’m only in 8th grade but I understand the metophors in your music. Helena beat explains my life so well when I first heard it I started crying. You keep me like…. alive with your music. I love you hard.
