Slayer’s New Shoes: Nike’s Reign In Blood Dunks

Loyal KROQ listener and frequent caller simply known as Slayer Guy, informed me of some really awesome news coming from his beloved band.
For fans, there is no such thing as too much Slayer. What better way to honor the most brutal of all bands than to rock their legendary album, Reign in Blood, on your feet?
Yes, you read that right! It has been 25 years since Reign in Blood was released and in celebration, Nike, in collaboration with Brooklyn Projects, will be releasing the Reign in Blood Dunk sneakers.

The Reign in Blood Dunk shoes will be available starting June 6 in select skate shops. But a pair of kicks as awesome as these will be hard to come by.
According to Sneakernews.com, it is rumored that only 666 pairs will be released. I know that I will try my best to buy at least 70 pairs.

When is Slayer going to come out with an all instrumental or electronica album…THEIR lyrics have been unisnpired and bland for so long, the sarcasm is growing highly unenjoyable when I choose not to listen and i ponder the few fans that actually know every word….
Insert the name of a random past high school class mate you haven’t seen in a few years because he’s still ashamed he memorized the few songs on the first album….
