How would you like to get in your car and hear the following:
“Hi, my name is Gary Busey and if you ever get bored, just honk at geese. Even though you don’t see any, just honk at them, like…I’ll give you an example – HOOOONK, HOOOONK, HOOOONK. I’m not bored, because I’m honking at geese.”
You can now get celebrities to be the voice of your GPS system!
Let me explain – There’s a company called NavTones that has started making celebrity voices available to TomTom and Garmin GPS systems. They’d previously just featured different types of voices or accents, but they’ve now started featuring celebrities.
Our fascination with Gary Busey has been strong lately due to his Celebrity Apprentice appearance this season. Well, NavTones is riding this one all the way to the bank by making him one of their featured celebrity voices for TomTom and Garmin navigation systems.
We got to listen to a few clips this morning of some of the other celebrity options as well.
Gary Busey tells you to make a L.E.F.T (Live Everyday For Tomorrow) or a R.I.G.H.T. (Reality Involves Grabbing Happiness Today).
Charlie Sheen tells you to “make a turn at the warlock. Winning!”
David Hasslehoff tells you when to get “Hoff” the freeway, and go to the liquor store.
And then there’s Rebecca Black, the annoying little girl that sings that dreadful “Friday” song! She’ll sing you your directions! I know that Bean will be all over that one.
