WARPAINT! I’ve seen them play at fyf in sept and holy god were they amazing. I mean the opening lyrics to that song are incredible and her voice is as soothing as Bethany c from best coast or Victoria legend from beach house.

I may be bias being that I have been a loyal fan for 5 years….but Shiny Toy Guns is going to be the hottest band with their upcoming album ‘III’ and I would bet Money For That. So if you’re dreaming of Rocketships on a Rainy Monday, or Shaken because you can’t stand Waiting for good new music, it just Starts With One listen to their new song The Sun and you’ll be as excited as the rest of us Shiny fans are. You Are The One in control of your ears. Don’t deprive them of excellent music. Don’t Cry Out loud when you’re so bored with all of these similar sounding bands. I Promise You Walls that Nothing Compares to this band. You will be Blown Away!

AGREED!!!!! And LOVE this post! haha! One of the things I love most about STG is they aren’t afraid to take risks, even if it means every song on an album has its own unique sound. I love that I can put on an album, and it NEVER gets old, no matter how many times I’ve listened to it before (actually had to buy a second copy of the We Are Pilots album [Universal], because I wore out the other one! LOL). Sooooo excited for the future of STG!!!!!

I met Shiny Toy Guns at Motorola Advertasing… after that I started a love case with them, haha. It’s f**king amazing how good feelings surround me when I listen to their songs..
