Update: Trent Reznor Not Scoring Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Trent Reznor is no longer scoring or even appearing in the new flick Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
The Oscar winner posted to the NIN forum earlier this week that he was in talks with Russian director Timur Bekmambetov about scoring and possibly having a small cameo in the film.
Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing Trent as a vamp, and see him sink those teeth into some human flesh. Reznor says there’s no juicy story, news leaked out of his involvement before he made a final decision about the project.
Don’t lie to the people Trent, I know why you left. You have no idea what this movie is really about, and really do the rest of us.
This movie seems like a mash-up of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “True Blood.” Not only is there love, lust, and carnage; vampires started the civil war.
Check out this clip I found for the movie, hopefully Timur Bekmambetov version will be better.
