Green Day Realeses “Awesome As F**k” Live Album Collector’s Edition On Pink Vinyl

Back in 1994, a little band called Green Day released an album called Dookie. Songs like “Longview” and “Basket Case” helped make them instant stars. Fifteen years later in May of 2009, Green Day released their 8th studio album, 21st Century Breakdown. A furious world tour soon followed lasting until early last year.

Green Day Live At Verizon Wireless…Every performance from the tour was recorded. Once they finished their final show, Green Day sifted through all the material and selected 17 tracks to release as a live album, titled Awesome As F**k. The album contains songs from 21st Century Breakdown as well as several tracks from their previous releases reaching all the way back to Dookie.

This masterpiece is scheduled to be released March 22nd, but you can also get the album on… get this, pink vinyl! The vinyl version will be pressed on pink 180 gram double-disc gatefold vinyl, bundled with an exclusive t-shirt and is set to be released on April 26th. For those of you that don’t have record players or aren’t into collectibles, you’ll also be able to buy all 17 tracks on CD/DVD.
