The music industry will be turning its eyes and ears towards Austin, Texas as the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival kicks off next week. Over 2,000 acts will be performing across 92 stages at this year’s festival and KROQ’s Kat will be there trying to soak in every one of them. She’s about to embark on her annual trek to her musical holy land.
Earlier this month we offered 140 FREE Music Downloads from SXSW artists, but below you can get even more music to take home.

SXSW continues its tradition of offering opportunities to lesser known musicians to get their music heard by the public and music industry professionals. This year itunes will be offering more than 20 dollars worth of free music from some of the musicians playing SXSW.

The download features artists such as Bright Eyes, Lucinda Williams, G. Love and Foster the People. Keeping with the spirit of SXSW the free music sampler will feature several different genres that are represented at the festival.
