Last night, Travis Barker premiered another new song off his upcoming album, Give The Drummer Some, on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. The song, called “Beat Goes On,” features Cypress Hill and a special appearance by Mix Master Mike in this performance. The first verse that B-Real spits is entirely about smoking weed, which is typical from the Cypress Hill crew, as he raps phrases like “spark it up in my growroom – pretty site” and talks about hitting his 8 foot bong in the hills.
Who knows how they cleared this song to be aired on NBC, but it’s definitely a dope track with several friends of KROQ performing on it. It’s a great follow-up to the release of “Saturday Night,” the song featuring The Transplants and Slash that we world premiered here on KROQ. Make sure to pick up your copy of Give The Drummer Some when it drops March 15th.

Pre-order Give The Drummer Some, due out March 15, on Amazon.
Check out Travis’ track “Saturday Night” here. If you like what you’ve heard so far, just wait until the rest of the album drops. I recommend picking up the deluxe edition so you can get the 4 bonus tracks, especially since it includes the track featuring Corey Taylor of Slipknot, which is the only true rock song on the album.
