linkinpark burning1 [VIDEO] Linkin Park Release Music Video For Burning In The Skies

If you’re not already on your way to tonight’s Linkin Park show, you’ll be happy to know that you can stay home and check out their brand new video for their song “Burning In The Skies.”

It’s a pretty trippy video and you don’t see the band until the end of it, but it’s definitely worth checking out.

“Leave a Comment Below.” That sounds like a Linkin Park song.

Man, we need old LP back.
I’m tired of this soft, boring, lame crap there coming out with.

They haven’t gone soft or sold out. Bands, and people in bands, are constantly growing and changing, just like everyone else out there… Their lyrics are still just as meaningful and bold as always. (A little more political, but still.) And Chester still gets his screams in; they just have a few more slower songs on their albums now. (Which is actually kinda good because we all need Chester’s voice in tact. Cancelled shows aren’t fun. Lol.)… Anyway, the show was great tonight, and in glad that this is the new single because it was always one of my favorites.

Man, we need old Education back.
I’m tried of this lack of understanding between “there” and “their”.

Seriously, people who just cry for the old LP to come back need to realize that no band stays big by playing the same stuff over and over again. Much like people’s fashions change, so do band’s styles of music. Stagnation leads to death. If not, we’d all still be rocking out to Mozart wearing funny, white wigs and knee-high socks.

Besides, you need to let it go, bro. LP has continually said they are not going back to THEIR old style. As Mike Shinoda raps in “When They Come for Me”:

Cos’ even a blueprint is a gift and a curse
Cos’ once you got the theory of how the thing works
Everybody wants the next thing to be just like the first

I like the video. Like Mike said a while ago, the “A Thousand Suns”-era is like a huge package. Everything from music, art, videos and live shows has the same theme: the fear of a possible Armageddon and humans’ self desdtruction. This video fits right into their concept!
Also, the explosion scene is very well done. I get goosebumps everytime I see it. Though it destroys everything, its depiction is almost sublime. Well done!
