Sublime (With Rome) Return To The Studio The Night Before The Late Bradley Nowell’s Birthday

Sublime With Rome at Weenie Roast 2010
Today is the birthday of former Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell, who passed away nearly 15 years ago. Maybe it was his spirit guiding the reassembled Sublime With Rome, but last night the band finally returned to the studio to begin recording new music.
This isn’t the first time the band has entered the studio though, they’ve obviously had to rehearse and practice for their number of shows they’ve performed in the last year or so. They also played a new song, “Panic,” during their surprise performance at Almost Acoustic Christmas 2009 and on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in June 2010, but have yet to follow that up with anything else.
Sublime With Rome sent a Facebook update last night that made me happy:
“Day 1 in the studio! Pre-production starts today for the new music. We will be posting mad videos so keep checking back, and let everyone know where to go for a behind the scenes look at the Sublime With Rome process. Peace.”

The band's Facebook page posted this photo of Rome in the studio
Check out some of the comments from the post:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRADLEY NOWELL!

Call me crazy but I get the feeling (having met Bradley before he passed) that his spirit would not approve of his band going on like this.

Sweet, can’t wait to hear the new Sublime. And also happy birthday, Brad! After 15 long years, I still miss you. I bet you’ve been having a good time in heaven hanging out and jamming with your favorite singer Bob Marley.
