The Strokes Coming Back To SNL

It has been a long 5 years since we last heard anything new from The Strokes, but after all that wait, they’re coming back into the lime light with a vengeance.
In case you’ve been under a rock for the past month or 2, let me try to brief you on some of the exciting news going on with the Strokes: NEW song, NEW album, 2 U.S. concert dates (one at Coachella and one in Vegas) and now it looks like they’ll be returning to America’s favorite late night comedy sketch show.
Get ready to set your TiVo’s, because you’re going to want to watch this performance from the band over and over again.
On March 5, The Strokes will be the musical guest for the Miley Cyrus-hosted episode of SNL. This will be the bands 3rd appearance on the show after 2002 and 2006 performances, and hopefully this will be the 3rd of many more to come. I hope that Hannah Montana doesn’t break up the band…
Anyone else looking forward to/going to the Vegas show? I for one, CANNOT wait!! But for now, let us indulge ourselves with their new single ‘Under the Cover of Darkness’ off their new album.
