QOTSA live at KROQ circa 2007

Desert denizens Queens of the Stone Age fulfilled their teases of a soon-to-be tour Monday, unleashing 14 U.S. dates set for the early Spring season, including a show at the Wiltern on April 12th, which is also the last stop of the tour.

Having been involved in multiple projects a la Jack White over the past two years, Josh Homme and the devilish groove of QOTSA are employing a set that will cover their entire self-titled debut, tossed with “nightly surprises.”

The band’s fan club pre-sale tickets are scheduled for Wednesday, February 16, and general admission going on sale Friday, February 18 at 10am.

It’s gonna be sick Derek! That self titled debut is worth witnessing by itself let alone mixed throughout an entire catelog of their hits. Damn! I have to find money to go see this gig! I still rock my 02′ Palladium show tour shirt and I hope to have a 11′ tour shirt to add to the collection…I guess we’ll wait and see! Great post Derek. I had no idea until now. My all time track besides “The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret” will always be “If Only”. Dude!!! To hear “Mexicola” and “How to Handle a Rope” LIVE!!! It’s gonna be pure insanity. Nice!
