Apologies to those who would’ve rather not had the spoiler, but since it’s already aired on the east coast, Twitter has exploded with the news: Canadian indie rocker Arcade Fire have indeed won Album Of The Year, for their album “The Suburbs.” They upset Katy Perry, Eminem, Lady Antebellum and Lady Gaga to clinch the prize.
Last week we had Arcade Fire in-studio for an interview with Stryker and a very intimate acoustic performance of Ready To Start and Month Of May.
- Watch more of Arcade Fire performing live in KROQ’s Studio R and listen to their interview with Stryker

Amazing! The grammy’s have given the album of the year to the most obscure, undeserving artists in the last few years. I mean, what the hell, Taylor Swift won last year’s. And I’m pretty sure Ray Charles won album of the year a few years back simply because he was dead.
But I am so glad Arcade Fire took this one home. So happy for them. And their performances stayed true to who they are. They are a great band who love playing and love creating. Amazing band, who will probably have a higher profile from this now. But who cares! Die hards will reamin by their side and Arcade Fire will continue to do things on their own terms, which in fact, they have done! Cheers to Arcade Fire!!!!

Congrats to Arcade Fire. A truly amazing album, a truly amazing band. The best of the 5 nominated, and a close second place on my personal top 10 list (Deftones barely beat them out). It’s just odd to finally agree with the Grammy’s after all these years.

Great win for Arcade Fire. Album is super awesome. It’s to bad KROQ doesn’t give them the radio play they so truly deserve along with other artist they promote on their website but rarely hear their music on KROQ. They continue to play……yeah I’m sure you guys know what I’m talking about. Can’t wait to see Arcade Fire at the Coachella Festival!!

I can’t wait for Christian rock to really get its notice at the grammy’s so It can be just as enjoyed on Kroq as it is for everyone who listens to it. Hopefully we can get the notice for all artist and not just those who are able to market the easily consumable under 13/under 30 entertainment…no offense fall out boy…..
