Former Smashing Pumpkins Bassist Gets Arrested

The ex-bassist for the Smashing Pumpkins, D’arcy Wretzky has been arrested in Michigan after breaching the state’s ‘Animals Running At Large’ law in 2009. The law sounds kind of silly, doesn’t it? Well apparently the horses that were kept at Wretzky’s home escaped and her neighbors called the police.
Following, the bassist subsequently missed four scheduled court appearances and hasn’t paid the fine she was issued, leading to her arrest.
According to TMZ, Wretzky was arrested on Tuesday,February 8 after a warrant was issued for her detention. She is scheduled to be release Monday, February 14.
Wretzky was in Smashing Pumpkins from 1988 to 1999, contributing to four studio albums. In 2000 she was replaced by former Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur, and has taken no part in the band’s current reunion.

Missing 4 scheduled court appearances is ridiculous. My biggest advice to you all is never talk to a Detective. They are not your friends, trust me. They should be called A-Hole liars out to sodomize you with a machete. We should teach kids not to talk to strangers AND detectives.

The good ol” days when Billy had hair and music was good. And every original member of The Pumpkins was present.

For many years, Billy said that even if he wanted to get the original lineup together, he couldn’t. Where KROQ has failed in this article is posting D’arcy’s mugshot (check TMZ). It is clear that she has lost a battle to meth, and she looks nothing like she once did. I know she was arrested for crack at the end of her SP days, my guess is her addictions have only gotten worse. Good thoughts and prayers her way, it’s clear she needs em.
