UGH!! TuneIn was so much better! They streamed at 96k, this POS doesn’t let you choose, and it defaults to low-quality that sounds like 32k. Translation: Sounds extremely low-quality, like I’m listening with an antenna over a 1980′s clock radio. Unacceptable. Can’t listen at work, so will probably default to podcasts. Thanks for killing my only joy during the day.

There is something wrong with the radio.com app on the AT&T Galaxy SII Skyrocket devices. The KROQ and some other stations are garbled beyond recognition. I’ve tested this on many SGH-i727 models just to make sure it wasn’t just my phone. Possibly the SGH-t989 has this problem as well. We are talking millions of phones here. Please fix it.

Another big media conglomerate that has its head up its ass. I used to stream KROQ almost all day at work on my android phone. Now CBS blocks them and force one to use either of the craptacular apps radio or yahoo, which are next to worthless. One less set of ears for their ads.

I got the email so I tried this app again. It is absolute garbage. I own a SGH-i727 (AT&T Galaxy SII Skyrocket). The decoding is absolutely buggy and it sounds like you’re listening to a encrypted message. There are instructions on the web on how to get KROQ high quality streams on your android if you google them. It requires a audio streamer that can decode AAC. Just add the right stream from streamtheworld and voila.j
