According to a claim made by Korn, they have started writing their new album, which is said to be influenced by Soundgarden.
This will be the band’s 10th album and will be recorded in April, according to guitarist James ‘Munky’ Shaffer. It will be the follow-up to their 2010 album Korn III: Remember Who You Are.
Shaffer continued to say that, “We went into the studio a couple of months ago, wrote some songs, Jonathan [Davis, singer] demoed the songs on his computer, and then we took them into the studio and played them live and tweaked them a little bit.”
In regards to the band’s new material, Shaffer said, “They kind of remind me a little bit of the Soundgarden style, that sort of Seattle sound.” He continued, “We’ll probably start recording in April to try and fine tune this sound we’re developing.”

Korn has put out one great record, one solid record and seven turds. I have no doubt in my brain that this record will be terrible. Come on Korn, you won’t sound like Soundgarden, you will sound like my ass after eating Del Taco.

Wow Jon Davis is looking his age now. Almost looks like Tom Leykis.
I used to be a huge fan of Korn but the lyrics and music has fallen flat and will probably be touring the Indian Casino circuit soon. So sad

@lostsoul86: I think the correct form is “soundgarden blows korn out of the water”
