I have an issue with Kings of Leon headlining. They could headline a KROQ all day fest but, not Coachella. Coachella is a different kind of experience. The last thing I want to hear at Coachella is “Your Sex is on FIRRRE!” Brutal.
Why did the Hipsters decide to adopt Kanye West. He is garbage, and his new album is garbage. I blame Pitchfork.com for that nonsense.
Arcade Fire and Interpol both played in ’07. It was a great show but, it is too soon.
The rumors were way better than this list. It doesn’t even compare. Where are The Rolling Stones, The Beastie Boys, Daft Punk, Underworld…
It is not all bad, and I am going to go, but it is def. somewhat of a let down.
Animal Collective will be great.

You’re so right. The Coachella experience was never supposed to be about the headliners. It’s about discovering new music or finally seeing that little band for friend has been telling you about for years. I had no idea who !!! was, let alone their name was Check Check Check. The day I got back from Indio, I downloaded every disc on iTunes and they’ve been playing in my car ever since. And, since they don’t do much touring and they’re returning to Coachella this year, I’ll be camped out in their tent waiting for them, blowing off my KROQ duties.

The Black Keys and Arcade Fire are a given. They’ll make the nights worth the blazin’ heat. It’s the surprise bands that end up on the list right before the count down that I’m waiting to hear about! Maynard has a f*cking point! Just compare those six bands and it speaks for itself. Coachella 2010 was beyond amazing!!! MUSE and GORILLAZ both f*cking rocked in 2010 with The Resistance and Plastic Beach and the only way to top them is by throwing fucking TOOL and System of a Down or at least The White Stripes, Massive Attack, Incubus and the list goes on. I feel like Coachella 2011 is such a down grade. I know it will be amazing but i had my hopes up for something HUGE like RUSH or Roger Waters perform The Wall

You’re all complaining about the line-up when the real beef is with the ticket prices and the not selling of single day passes. This line-up blows so I am skeptical that people wanted to see this event based on the performers. There is something fishy going on.
