This week I’m giving away tickets to one hell of a spectacle, Monster Jam. If you were to fill Angel Stadium with more than a dozen 2,000+ horsepower, fire-breathing mechanical demons, you’d get quite a show. That’s just what Monster Jam aims to deliver January 29th at Angel Stadium and for the first time, February 19th at Dodger Stadium.
Sure, there are very few family oriented events here in SoCal. You’ve got Disneyland, Knott’s and an occasional circus coming through every few years but overall, there just aren’t many events where mom, dad and the kids can scream and yell and all have a good time. Last time I attending Monster Jam with my two little boys we ran into a pack of hipsters from Silverlake. They were just as into Grave Digger as my 5-year-old. Well, maybe for different reasons, but the point’s the same. It’s a great time for all.
Just one word of caution though… If you’ve got sensitive hearing bring your ear plugs. These trucks do some serious decibels.
Grab your tickets now. If you have kids, the hot ticket is the pit pass. You can stroll the pits and take photos with all the cars and their drivers. Your kids will leave with tons of posters and freebies.
