The dudes in CAKE have been making great music for years. Even though they’re from Sacramento, they’ve always managed to bring a sort of country twang to their sound, providing us with great songs like “The Distance” to new songs like “Sick Of You.”
The guys came by for a live performance on the Kevin & Bean Show earlier this month and played “Sick Of You,” as well as the KROQ-frequent “Short Skirt/Long Jacket.” They followed up this performance with an equally (if not better) performance at Almost Acoustic Christmas.
