The Dirty Heads with Rome
All this week, we’re presenting you our favorite performances that took place this year at the KROQ studios. We’ve had some incredible talent come through our doors, so it was tough to choose only a handful of our favorites.
To kick things off, here’s video of our buddies in The Dirty Heads (along with Rome of Sublime With Rome) when they came to the KROQ backyard loaded with acoustic guitars, cold beers and a BBQ. Not only did they cook up some burgers for the KROQ staff, but they also performed a few songs on that sunny day… then kicked back and had a few brews.
This video was shot in April, about a week before Coachella. At that point, “Lay Me Down” had only been getting spins for a few weeks and was starting to gradually pick up across the rest of the US. It’s great to see the progress of the guys and the success they earned from “Lay Me Down” and the rest of their album Any Port In A Storm.
