Miss Double D-Cember 2011 Recaps Her Experience At Almost Acoustic Christmas

Ho Ho Ho Everyone!

I can only describe my Almost Acoustic Christmas experience this weekend as insanely awesome. I kicked off Night One reuniting with the great KROQ crew & getting interviewed on- stage by the whole Kevin and Bean gang.

I was blessed with VIP tickets and was blown away by the show both nights. I also ran into gorgeous Miss Double D-cember 2002, Melissa, while walking to my seats!

Backstage, I got to meet one of my idols, Dr. Drew, and tell members of Bad Religion how much I enjoyed their set. I even got to ask Dirty Heads frontman, Jared, exactly which head on their bodies they’re referring to as dirty.

Two of my most memorable highlights was getting to announce bands with the Kevin and Bean crew. On Night One, Bean introduced me to the crowd and then announced My Chemical Romance.

The Night Two intro of Brandon Flowers was sloppily epic! Just as the Black Keys finished and the spotlight came on us, one of my drinks dropped and got ALL over Kevin and Jimmy Kimmel. But the greatest part of it was my timing because Ralph had just finished peeing into his drink cup. So both were soaked and thought it was Ralph! I felt so bad, but of course they were totally cool about it!

At least I have time to master my double-fisting before Weenie Roast ’11. I would also like to say thanks for the numerous congrats, phone numbers, and free drinks I got while walking around the Gibson.
