[Interview] ACX 2010 Will Tonight be The Last Show For Broken Bells EVER?

Big Broken Bells reveal of day? All you Broken Bells fans, you better NOT MISS their act, following Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros tonight, because this may be THE LAST TIME you see the kinetic energy of these two extraordinary musical talents.

James Mercer of The Shins and producer extraordinaire Danger Mouse – perform LIVE ON STAGE for a while…if EVER, according to Kevin and Bean’s interview with them earlier this night.

When Kevin and Bean kicked off Day Two of KROQ’s acoustic Christmas on the front stage at the entrance of Gibson’s Amphitheater, chatting with the two musicians, Danger Mouse dropped the news-worthy bomb:

“THIS IS OUR LAST SHOW Forever or till we make another album.

“We figure we’ll talk about it next year; we both have other jobs.” So be sure to get out your phones, and sway along to the beat, since it may be a while till the musicians – who usually remain on different sides of the music spectrum – gift us with their dual talents onstage.

On another note, James Mercer revealed some fun The Shins news “We’re gonna do another Shins record.”

As for if there’s any surprises for tonight’s show? Per Danger Mouse:

“We’re doing it SHIRTLESS“
