I don’t know what was better, watching Bad Religion from the side of the stage or watching it alongside OC punk legend Mike Ness of Social Distortion. Yea, I felt like a badass for a minute…but who wouldn’t?

There’s a reason we invite these guys to play so many shows, song after song is a classic or new hit from these guys. Even though I just saw them at Epicenter in September, these guys still blow my mind every time I see them. To think that they’re celebrating their 30th anniversary too!

They started their set off with “Infected” and a very suiting “Los Angeles Is Burning,” and made their way into “New Dark Ages.” They hit their new singles next, jamming out to “Cyanide” and “Devil In Stitches,” both songs off their new album The Dissent Of Man.

Next they played “Struck A Nerve” and “American Jesus,” then paused for a few moments to reflect on the crowd and situation. They finished their set off with “Digital Boy,” “Sorrow” and “F**k Armageddon.”

Bad Religion never fail to disappoint, and tonight was no exception. They put on a great performance, and I’m not sure what was better… watching it from the stage or watching it from the stage next to another punk legend, Mike Ness.

Yeah, I tried, no words come to mind. They just get better and better. One of the best bands you can see live, or listen to, or follow, or hell, their one of the best bands. Period.
