A Day To Remember, which happens to be one of my favorite bands, kicked off the 21st Annual Almost Acoustic Christmas at the Gibson Amphitheatre tonight with an incredible set, featuring both new and old songs alike.
The guys kicked things off on a perfect note and played a perfect blend of material. The few kids in the pit were SUPER amped on seeing these guys, although this is a band that feeds off crowd energy more than anything so it wasn’t as intimate as I bet some people expected.
They mixed in songs like “2nd Sucks,” “All I Want,” and “Have Faith In Me,” rounding out the sound that is A Day To Remember.
Bass player Josh Woodard was out of commission today, but longtime friend (and ex-guitarist) Tom Denny stepped in for him, which was a nice surprise for old school fans.It was a bummer in my eyes that they only got to play 25 minutes, but it was a f**king awesome 25 minutes if you ask me!

They are one of the best! So happy for them to be on a big stage amongst the KROQ fans.
