Boys will be boys and one thing is for certain around the holidays; dudes will sit around the television and watch massive amounts of football. Stryker asked the guys of Jimmy Eat World to give a play-by-play of the audience and to divulge what they are doing New Year’s Eve.
The band answered laughingly when Stryker asked them to give a play-by-play of the audience, “great shot; great photography; lots of beautiful people.”
Giving Stryker an audience member play-by-play might be easy for the band backstage, but they divulged that playing shows is “always nerve-wracking; there’s more than a little pressure.”
One of their most nerve-wracking moments from past Acoustic Christmas’ included anxiety over playing after Muse: “Muse played and I was just really happy that I didn’t have to go on after them…anyone who plays after Muse is going to have their asses handed to them.”
Just like Jimmy Eat World just ruled our stage tonight?
