No Sleep Till Sundance For Beastie Boys

Beastie Boys are set to make their mark on 2011′s Sundance Festival with a short film based around their 1987 video for “Fight For Your Right.” Set to feature Elijah Wood, Jack Black, Seth Rogan, Danny McBride, and Will Ferrell, Fight For Your Right Revisited coincides with new material from the group.
We’ve got Last.fm Trends to find out the fans’ favorites from the Beasties’ 30-year career, and if they’d like to travel back in time.

Their six-month chart (shown above) is topped by tracks whose companion music videos have become iconic in their own right, such as “Sabotage,” “Intergalactic,” and “Fight For Your Right.”
However, when you look at all-time scrobbles (which you can see at the top right of each track page), it’s “Sabotage” that comes in first with 1,817,941 from 361,566 listeners.
The rest of the top ten is a good mix of old and new, suggesting that fans will welcome both a retro movie and a brand-new release.
The popularity of “Fight For Your Right” meanwhile is fairly steady, at around 2,500 weekly listeners for the party classic. Will the film bring it to a new audience?
