I love fruitcake. If you don’t, it’s probably because you’ve just never had a good one. If you nibbled on a brick at Grandma’s house and spit it out then maybe you’ve been assuming they are all dry and flavorless like that. The fruitcake, not Grandma. Put the right ingredients in the hands of the right baker, though, and you’ve got yourself a moist and delicious holiday dessert.

Now my love of fruitcake and my love of Christmas music come together on a fantastic new song by Fred Schneider, singer for the legendary KROQ band The B-52s! We’re talking about it and playing it on this morning’s Kevin & Bean show. Naturally, Kevin hates everything in this paragraph: fruitcake, Christmas music, and Fred Schneider but he’s wrong on all counts.

The song is hilarious and the video is super fun.
