It was obvious Phoenix wasn’t going to close out the show. Great band but not a headlining band. The Killers or No Doubt.

Wow you people are dumb. Daft Punk have only done one show since 2007, and that was a little session with their buddies Phoenix in NYC. You really think they’ll do their first proper comeback show at this?

    how is it a proper comeback show? it hasn’t been announced..
    I’m not saying Daft Punk will play a whole set, they might just show up at the end of Phoenix and play with them for a bit.. I am just guessing Daft Punk because they are in LA at the moment.

Daft Punk are always in LA, one of the members lives here. & they did that whole “playing with Phoenix” thing already. Honestly, it’d be super lame if they did that again. That’s a one off type of thing. Not a “oh hey let’s pop in at your shows every now and then.” & this is coming from a huge Daft Punk fan who was at their 2006 come back show at Coachella, and at the Sports Arena and Vegoose the following year. Daft Punk is way more clever than to just show up at some radio show. Especially for a station who never plays them.
