Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Releases Christmas Song “XM@$”

Capping off what has been quite a downer year for the Slipknot nation, Corey Taylor is releasing a humorous Christmas track poking fun at all the Scrooges in the world.
The appropriately festive song titled “XM@$,” was written by Taylor four years ago on his day off, and was recently rediscovered by his manager just in time for a Christmas release. The playfully vulgar single will be available for digital download via iTunes, Amazon, and every other leading digital retailer December 12th, but you can feast on it after the drop.
Here’s the scoop on “XM@$”:
Says Taylor, “I wrote this song in my kitchen one winter, listening to people bitch about the holidays. Personally, I love the holidays, but they seem to bring on severe stress in most people. So, I wrote this in honour of crotchety, drunken bastards who don’t know the difference between a yuletide and a toolshed. Plus, I think it’s funny. ”
For every download of “XM@$” Taylor has generously decided to donate all proceeds to Teenage Cancer Trust.
Now is the time to bust out the rum and eggnog.

Lol… I must get this one. However i love how they change their sound to a more clear version from their latest album. Their previous albums were a slight muddy. GRATS!

That is freakin’ awesome! I think KROQ needs to have Slipknot play Almost Acoustic Christmas next year.

Sounds to me like a southern version of Bad Religion.
