The Wizarding World Likes KROQ Bands
I’ve been waiting for this week to arrive now forever. I am one of the biggest Harry Potter geeks around, and November 19th couldn’t have come any sooner.
In preparation for this day I have re-read the entire series with special attention to the last book, watched every trailer that has come out on a daily basis, and finally went to Whimsic Alley at 2717 1/2 Wishire Blvd. to buy my HP gear for tonight’s midnight showing.
While I’ve been drowning myself in all that is Harry Potter for the past few weeks, I did find out that many of the cast members like a ton of KROQ bands. Especially Kings Of Leon, who seem to take the lead on most votes from the cast.
The cast of the Harry Potter films has good taste in music I must say. Daniel Radcliffe told Blender.com that The Blue Album by Weezer would be the perfect album for a welsh vacation.

When asked what album gets him into character, Funeral by The Arcade Fire was his answer. “Their lyrical imagery is incredible: ‘Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)’ even alludes to evolution, if I’m not mistaken.”

And how about the rest of the cast. Well, Emma Watson told Vogue that Vampire Weekend has a spot on her iPod along with many other artists. Check out the video below to see what else the cast likes. I must say I like the Weasley Twin’s answer.

although i recommend the following bands: AFI, Avenged Sevenfold, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, System of a Down, Linkin Park, Muse, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam, Rise Against, the Offspring, Bad Religion, and Nirvana

Radcliffe looks more girly than Watson in that picture. Looks sort of like Macauley Kulkin in party monster. Creepy.
