New Jane’s Addiction Album To Be Released “Early Next Year”
Jane’s Addiction guitarist, Dave Navarro, revealed the band’s plans for their next album. With side projects, reunions and band members leaving, the band has been through a lot and it will be interesting the see the direction they take.
Navarro continues to say that the band will head into the studio next month to work on what will be their fourth effort. “We’re actually writing quite a bit and getting ready to go into the studio in December,” he says. “We will start recording tracks and hopefully have something out by early next year.”
KROQ reported back in September that bassist Duff McKagan quit the group after just six months. McKagan joined the band when Eric Avery left in March.”We love the songs we worked on with [Duff] – and the gigs were a blast – but musically we were all headed in different directions. From here, Duff is off to work on his own stuff so we wish him all the best.”
This soon to be album will be a follow-up to 2003′s Strays.
