Extreme Home Make Over, Rob Zombie Edition

This Sunday on ABC a very special edition of Extreme Makeover will be aired, or should I say, a very spooky edition. Get this- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition with Mr. Zombie. Rob Zombie is now turning into quite the king of media recently, filming a new movie, recently going on tour, having amusement park attractions, and now hitting the small screen.
I can see it now, “put the gargoyles over there,” “No, the corpses are supposed to go in the family room!” I wish he would come and Zombify my home… a boy can dream.
For the special Halloween Edition, Rob Zombie will travel to the Oregon School for the Deaf, and totally remake their dorm rooms, and a renovated haunted house, dubbed the ‘Nightmare Factory.’
“It’s absolutely amazing to be able to help the school with something like this. Usually what I do does not come into play, so to be asked to come do something to work on a haunted house and make it as scary and crazy as I could to help the school was awesome. It was a rare opportunity to put some evil to good use,” said Rob Zombie.
The project was unveiled on Monday night, with more than 200 people purchasing VIP tickets to be amongst the first to see the masterpiece. Around $12,000 was raised alone with those ticket sales, with all the proceeds going to the school. This ‘Nightmare Factory” will be open to the public, with tickets starting at $10, but no opening date has been announced yet.
