Weezer Covers Toni Braxton’s ‘Unbreak My Heart’

Weezer is one of those bands that you can cruise down your block or the beach with the windows down and your system up bumping all the hits… from “Buddy Holly” to “Memories.”
As we wait for the band to release the deluxe version of Pinkerton on November 2nd, Weezer also plans to release Death to False Metal, a compilation of previously unreleased Weezer recordings on the same day. One of the tracks on the upcoming album is an awesome cover of Toni Braxton’s ‘Unbreak My Heart.’ Trust me. It’s cool.
Weezer – “Unbreak My Heart”

Due out Nov. 2nd
As mentioned before, Death To False Metal is due November 2nd. Rivers Cuomo said that the tracks are “great songs, great recordings, but for some reason they didn’t make the final cut for a record. And like the Alone record, they span a vast period of time from the very beginning of our career in the early ’90s right up to the present day. But I have no idea when that would come out. It’s just another fun project to do.”
Be sure to pick it up when you buy Pinkerton too!

Better than the original. Not as good as “pork n beans” but you just gotta love Weezer. Don’t hear them here in Oz.
