Rivers Cuomo Coming Out With Book “Pinkerton Diaries”
What do musicians do while they are not busy rocking the mind of thousands of fans in a big ass venue? Write a book of course…There have been a ton of artists (Nikki Sixx, Slash, Marilyn Manson, and Jim Lindberg from Pennywise to name a few) who have come out with tell-all books about their crazy lives, drug usage, thought processes and much, much more.
Rivers Cuomo, lead singer of Weezer, would like to join this special group of elite authors too.
Pinkerton Diaries will include a collection of Rivers’ “journals, emails, letters, photos, school papers, and everything from the years of ’94-’97″ he tells SPIN magazine.

The book is due out some time in November and more from the “Pinkerton” album is to come. Rivers reveals that during their upcoming “Memories Tour’ the “Blue” and “Pinkerton” albums will be played in full. But, rest assured, not one night will be the same. Rivers explains there will be no replication of any of the shows. By changing the production on stage, the wardrobe, and even grooming each show will have its own special once in a lifetime feel.
