Oh, Kanye! You So Crazy!
Okay, it’s new album promotion time and nobody does it better than Kanye West. The man makes headlines with every TV appearance, every interview, and lately, every Tweet. Oh yeah, and he makes music too.
Mr. West’s Twitter feed is suggesting the album cover for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (out November 22d) has been “banned by Wal-Mart.”
Come on! What’s a little naked interracial lovemaking among friends?

“According to the LA Times, it was not actually banned, but Kanye may have decided not to use it so that stores like Wal-Mart would carry his stuff.
A source familiar with West’s discussions with Universal Music Group’s Island Def Jam regarding the cover art above agreed to speak solely on the condition of anonymity, proclaiming that he did ‘not want to lose my job over this.’
The source implied that the debate was not one that was clear cut. West was strongly urged to use alternate art, the source conceded, but added that West ‘was told if he wanted to do it, the label would stand behind him.’”
So, blah blah blah controversy. Again. Well done, ‘Ye!

The album cover is pretty trippy, but I cannot look away. George Condo is the artist behind these artworks. Most of his works are traumatic and surreal, but I’m interested in it; maybe even mesmerized by the art. Kanye wants the attention and I believe he’s successfully doing so.

Amazon.com has it right with that other version of the album cover. If only that was a real life portrayal of kanye. I can’t believe that clown has his nerve to try and drag Nirvana through his pathetic excuse of a life as a comparrison. what more of a douche can this kid be.
