Epicenter Interview: Rise Against – The Nicest Punks I Know
I had the pleasure of interviewing Rise Against before they DESTROYED the crowd at KROQ Epicenter 2010. It’s not that Rise Against is the BEST current punk band in the world, or that their song “Savior” just broke the “most weeks in the alternative rock top ten” record, or that they have a new live-footage DVD coming out in October, or that they’ve just begun to record their next album, that makes them awesome.
It’s mostly that they are the NICEST band on the planet. The kind of guys you would want to babysit your kids. KROQ loves Rise Against!!

They were pretty intense at the Epicenter. Didn’t quite understand why there were some acoustic songs present in their set, but it was a great show! *Side note* Just realized the lead singer’s eyes are different colored. WIN.

Yoooo! I really like that band man, first time I heard of them was when I was playing guitar hero III and since than I was hooked! hahaha

First time i saw RISE AGAINST couldnt have been any better i was way up in the front getting crushed by the crowed but it was worth it
