Super awesome premiere. Finally a reason to stay home and turn on the radio on a Sunday night. Thanks Steve!

i’ve been a fan of Jonesy since he was on Indie 103.1, and his show was always my favorite. I’m so glad he’s FINALLY back on the air. I also love how you guys put the entire show’s track listing online for us to look up as well!
i have to say, i was saddened when i first heard that Jones was given a small slot late sunday night for only a few hours. However, while driving home tonight after a long, busy weekend, Jonesy’s Jukebox perfectly hit the spot. tonight’s show had great songs that totally fit my mood. It ended my weekend on a positive note. So just thought i’d say thanks Jonesy! Glad you’re back :)

Oohhh Jonesy! Dear Steve I have wished the best for you since 103.1 signed off.

Tonight I was on my way home from a movie with my girls (11 and 14, respectively) and we heard an odd song on KROQ. I turned it up because it was, well, *odd*. I immediately started squirming in my seat, dancing around and pointed at the radio saying (with increasing volume), “It’s JONESY!!! It has to be Jonesy! It’s Jonesy’s Jukebox!’ My oldest seemed to catch my excitement while my youngest stayed confused as always. During ridiculous static we get here in Rancho Santa Margarita I argued with the radio to let me hear your awesome voice, slurring with the cool Brit accent I missed so much.

Yay! Jonesy is back! I so look forward to the music, commentary and interviews.

Steve Jones, you are my brother reincarnate- even though he still lives… I think you are a crossover. Brilliant!

Great to have the Shepherds Bush Goal Machine/Licker of Lichstenstein back on the air. Jonesy is THE MAN!!!!

Any plans to archive the entire show? The playlist is great and all, but this show is just about as much about the DJ as it is about the music. Jonesy’s Jukebox has a following that extends well outside greater Los Angeles, so it would probably boost traffic to your site.

Hope to hear the show in its entirety in the future.

If you care about reconnecting with all the listeners you have alienated in the past decade KROQ, you will archive Steve Jones. The music is great, the sound of Jonesy’s voice is like the warm and sticky hug you always got when you sat on grampa’s lap.

Kroq finally took a step in the right direction (the indie direction) Now if they could only give Rodney on the Roq some decent air play they might be a GREAT station

1) Five fewer songs, more free form Jonesy please.
2) Old songs are new songs to those that have never heard them before. Part of the charm of the show.
3) Thanks for listening.

So happy Jonesy is back!!! I still listen to all your podcasts from Indie 103.1. So glad to hear new material from you! You rock. Are you going to post your show so we can download them if we can’t get to the radio every Sunday? I hope so!

I thought Jonesy played a tune toward the end of the show Merry Go Round, but I don’t see it here, did anyone catch that or will it be re-broadcast? Podcast would be great. I really enjoy your taste in music, it is so refreshing! Cheers!

Why won’t they podcast these shows? Every other radio show can do it…I’m giving up on this. Pity, theres loads of SJ fans around the world.
