Rob Zombie is weird, but I love it!

The mind that brought you great horror flicks like Halloween, House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects is back! Just announced, Zombie will be teaming up with the people who brought you Paranormal Activity, to bring us The Lords of Salem, which he wrote and will direct.

Without giving too much away, Zombie’s next film, Lords of Salem, will be set in modern day Salem, Mass., who has gone down in history for the infamous witch trials, with a demonic  300-year old witch coven, that have returned to take revenge on the people of the town.

Legend has it that in 1666,  a group of four men met in the woods outside of Salem, and made a pact with a demon known as Baal Davar. This group came to be known as “The Lords of Salem.”  Locals had often talked of four figures on horseback, each wearing a mask embossed with the image of a human skull, riding through the night. Wherever these sightings occurred, plagues and strife seemed to follow. Read the rest of the story here.

Zombie is about to embark on a three-week tour with Alice Cooper on The Halloween Hootenanny, coming to the Gibson Amphitheatre, Thursday, September 30th and will criss-cross the US with a tour de force of ghoulish delights for your aural pleasure.
