KROQ Presents: A Perfect Circle – Playing 3 Albums In 3 Nights

A Perfect Circle is a supergroup that was formed by Maynard James Keenan (Tool‘s singer) and Tool’s guitar tech in the late 90′s. They put out 3 great albums: Mer De Noms, Emotive and Thirteenth Step, during their first stint from 1999-2004, and in 2008 Keenan said in an interview that he and another member were working on new content.
None of that content has been released yet, but the band recently announced that they will be playing a run of shows where they play 3 shows in each city, a different album each night. And guess what? They’re coming to LA!
On November 8th-10th, prepare to get rocked at the Avalon in Hollywood as Keenan and Co. take the stage and play each of their amazing albums in it’s entirety. Three-day tickets are available so you’ll be able to catch them each night.
The band has shuffled around some people, so the new lineup is as follows:
- Vocals – Maynard James Keenan (Tool)
- Guitar – Billy Howerdel (Ashes Divide)
- Drums – Josh Freese (Vandals, Devo, Nine Inch Nails)
- Bass – Matt McJunkins (Ashes Divide)
- Guitar – James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins)

Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 24th, at 10am. Get your tickets and 3-day passes on Ticketmaster.

OH MY GOD… I’m fu@kin’ there man! For reals, I’m there hazed out of my mind so I can enjoy this on all the different levels… Great job Blackout!!! I might not have ever bothered to check for this ticket sale if it wasn’t for you buddy. Righteous… I wanna hear “Pet” played live!!! And “The Hollow”…DAMN and “Passive”!!! Wow…this is gonna be a once in a life time. Kinda like Deftones Chi Cheng benefit at that same wonderful venue where they tore the place apart with two of the sickest gigs I’ve ever seen, on youtube.
But this! This right here, I’m definitely droppin’ the cash for this special occasion. It’s gonna be trips…o.O
