Marky Ramone Scholarship All-Star Fundraising Concert Adds More Artists

Legendary drummer for [lastfm]The Ramones[/lastfm], Marky Ramone will perform at a special all-star fund-raising concert event at the Musicians Institute Concert Hall Friday, October 8th.

As previously announced, Marky will be joined by Billy Sheehan ([lastfm]David Lee Roth[/lastfm]), Lemmy Kilmister ([lastfm]Motörhead[/lastfm]), Michael Graves ([lastfm]The Misfits[/lastfm]), Jeff Duncan ([lastfm]Armored Sain[/lastfm]t), Marko DeSantis ([lastfm]Sugarcult[/lastfm]) and Andy Hilfiger (Tommy Hilfiger fame).

With an all-star line up like that, the bill would be full. However, it was announced today that two more musicians will also be performing.

Bassist Joey Vera from [lastfm]Armored Saint[/lastfm]/[lastfm]Fates Warning[/lastfm] and Mike Stone from [lastfm]Queensryche[/lastfm] will join the stellar line-up to help benefit the Marky Ramone Scholarship for Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA.

As you can imagine, you will hear a lot of the music that paved the way for many of today’s bands. Marky’s set-list is composed of 31 Ramones songs such as Sedated, Blitzkreig Bop, Pinhead and more!
