linkinparkvmas2010 Video: Linkin Park Performs The Catalyst For KROQ Audience During MTV VMAs

A little over a week ago we gave you the opportunity to win tickets to see Linkin Park perform “The Catalyst” during the VMAs. Well, the footage was revealed last night.

Turns out that the secret location was none other than one of the most iconic locations in all of Los Angeles; Griffith Observatory. KROQ fans poured across the front lawn to watch a special 3-song live performance just as the sun was setting over the Hollywood Hills. By all accounts the night was amazing.

Linkin Park’s new album, A Thousand Suns, hits stores tomorrow.

This was the only good part of that whole show it was almost unwatchable. Whoever that was who was hosting was beyond terrible if that is possible.

Dude!!!!!! That was a sick setup!!! I would’ve loved to have been amongst all those screens and lights. That was a sickly performance LP put on. Good for them. Keepin’ it fresh. I can dig it. Rock on Linkin Park! Keep on doin’ what you’re doin’. It’s pretty good.
