Green Day Debuts “Cigarettes And Valentines” Live
With Green Day set to play Verizon Wireless Amphitheater tonight with AFI, this may be good news for all of you planning to attend.
At their show August 28 in Colorado, Green Day performed a new song, “Cigarettes and Valentines”. The song was originally supposed to be part of the original follow-up to Warning, but then the master tapes of the album were stolen. In an inspired recovery, the band instead recorded American Idiot, won a Grammy, and hit Broadway. The new song is planned to be included in a new live album being recorded now.
The song sounds like a throwback to the ol’ Dookie days, what do you think of it?
