Amazing to hear The Quotes being played on your station. This is arguably the best band in the UK at the moment. Looking forward to you sharing Innocent Flow with your listeners.

I know others have requested Rodney on the Roq podcasts, but please, please, please Rodney do podcasts. I absolutely love your show and only listen to KROQ because of your show. Due to the time it’s on, I can only listen to a portion of it. While I think it’s disgraceful, KROQ gives you such a timeslot, I am still grateful you are still on the air :-)

We wold love nothign more than to release Rodney’s show as a podcast. Unfortunately, we would have to get persmission of every artist on his playlist. Podcasts are downloadable MP3s so by making his show a podcast, you’d end up owning the music within that podcast. Simply put, it’s a legal nightmare.

What about a limited on demand stream vs. a podcast. It could simply replay the show for a limited amount of time without being a download. Does that also have its own challenges?

I live in a different timezone and its impossible to listen to Rodney Live! If you cant make his show into podcasts why not give him a better time slot?! Rodney should leave LA and come to Austin! We love indie music here!

You say you can’t make Rodney’s show a podcast because of legal, how then, can sites like the Garage Punk Hideout, have all of their shows available on podcast. I’m not being a jerk, just curious.
