Last.fm Trends: Hot Hot Heat Is Back With A Vengeance
A few years ago Hot Hot Heat were one of the biggest bands in the world. With tracks like “Bandages” peppering TV soundtracks and chart shows around the world it seemed you couldn’t move for their angular sound and jerky guitars. They recently popped in for a session at Last.fm Discover and were amazing as you’d expect.
They’ve taken almost three years out to regroup, but new album Future Breeds is ripping up the band’s charts. Last.fm Trends look at your favorite’s in the band’s top ten to see what the new material needs to beat.

While none of the new material has quite crept into the top ten yet it’s only a matter of time. Classics from the band’s debut like “Bandages” and “No, Not Now” lay claim to tens of thousands of listeners, with the album seeing 2,905,016 individual plays in its lifetime.
Album Elevator has a firm claim to the top spot though, with “Middle of Nowhere” at number two and “Goodnight, Goodnight” at number one. The latter track has seen 1,317,695 scrobbles from 221,502 listeners since being released
