Achtung Baby is the best U2 album, but Joshua Tree should win here

    WHAT?!!?
Are you kidding? Any of the final eight albums are wonderful examples of how great KROQ music can be.
Now, whoever set up the pairings should have their head checked, but the albums involved are nothing short of brilliant.
Where The Streets Have No Name… Just Like Heaven… Head Like A Hole… Should I Stay Or Should I Go… Paranoid Android… Uprising… Mr. Brightside… Parallel Universe… Monkeywrench… These songs are why we like KROQ.
Are there other great albums? -Certainly. Nevermind should not have gone up against The Joshua Tree so early… Achtung Baby is a gem, Downward Spiral, Melon Collie, Evil Empire, Ixnay On The Hombre, Music For The Masses… you get the idea.
Taking all into consideration, I’m happy to own and enjoy all of the “Elite Eight” albums.
Congrats KROQ listeners (and voters here), you’ve done a fine job.
