Before entering to win, you must be willing to participate in an on-site beach clean-up for Heal The Bay at Dockweiler State Beach on Saturday, August 28th at 10am. Dockweiler Beach is located just south of Playa Del Rey (by LAX). If you’ve ever flown out of LAX, you’ve been 500 feet over Dockweiler Beach. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the on-site beach clean-up at Dockweiller State Beach on Saturday August 28, 2010 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Entrants do not need to do anything additional to win, once entrant wins they will need to help clean up the beach to claim the prize (additional clean up info available onsite day of event or call the KROQ promotions department).

What a remarkable, inspiring idea (although some may not have the same passion to make an effort to preserve the vision for a verdant environment.) I sincerely hope this would spread to the east coast, and other areas where it can most be appreciated !

this is not fair. I live all the way up in seattle area in washington and I want to see them again and meet billie tre and mike. Why can’t I go clean up a beach up here and be able to enter this contest. that ain’t fair

Congradulations ! I would love to be there too ! Although I need to find someone to go with also. I would sprout wings & fly or fins & swim if possible, but since those are out of the realm of posssibilty, I am optomistic for anothr option !
