Wolfmother At The House Of Blues This Thursday

Wolfmother, best known for the hit songs “Woman” and “Joker and the Thief” have been touring like crazy and are coming to the House of Blues in Anaheim this Thursday. The band is promoting its second album, “Cosmic Egg,” which was released near the end of last year.
Frontman Andrew Stockdale and company have definitely been keeping busy; they just came from playing Chicago’s Lollapalooza and this past weekend’s Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco.
The Australian rock band is doing a good job of making up for lost time. In 2008, the band went on hiatus and drummer Myles Heskett and bassist/keyboardist Chris Ross ended up leaving the band over “irreconcilable differences.” Stockdale remained and created an otherwise entirely new lineup.
The band gained more exposure when the song “Vagabond” from its original album Wolfmother was used in the (500) Days of Summer soundtrack. Plus, Andrew Stockdale recently collaborated with Slash on the song “By The Sword.”
Now the band is finishing up its tour with a few more show dates, including Thursday’s concert in Anaheim. Buy tickets here. Then check out Wolfmother’s video of a performance of the track “White Feather” from Cosmic Egg.
