Avenged Sevenfold Autograph Signing Drew Fans From Around The World

So, Avenged Sevenfold scores the #1 Album in the country, and what do they do? They go to Orange, California to sign autographs for fans (after having an extended “happy hour” the other day, if you know what I mean…* cough* Whiskey & Coke *cough*). There were lines around the block, insane tattoos, and yes, there was KROQ.

Avenged Sevenfold Best Buy In-Store…

KROQ helped our listeners celebrate the band’s success by giving 10 of our Street Team members front of the line passes for themselves and a guest. For those of you that missed out on the opportunity to meet A7X – you should have signed up to be a Street Team member, I have no sympathy for you. But here’s a mini-recap of what a joyous event it truly was:

• Music: Off Avenged Sevenfold‘s Nightmare album, of course.
• KROQ: chilling outside Best Buy with the fans, havin’ a good time.
• Kids that flew over from Ireland to be here for the signing. And that ain’t a cheap airfare.
• People at the signing table telling you not to take pictures of the band. (Sorry about that)
• Incredibly humble and appreciative guys: Those would be the guys of A7X – I saw a smile on every one of their faces as they signed cds, complimented tattoos, joked around with each other and the fans, and gave roughly 1,762 hugs (1,000 were given by Johnny “The Huggybear” Christ)
